CEO

Carey Chen

Carey joined Incodema and Newcut in August 2020, after serving Cincinnati Incorporated as Executive Chairman and President since 2015. Immediately prior, he was VP of Hypertherm, Inc. and held various executive roles including GM - Light Industrial Business, CFO, and CIO. Earlier in his career, he served as VP - Finance for Wiremold | Legrand; VP & CFO for Bayliner Marine Corporation; and held various financial planning and strategic development roles for AlliedSignal, Inc. Carey is currently serving his second term as Treasurer of the American Welding Society.

President

Illa Burbank

Illa was the Chief Financial Officer for all Incodema Group of Companies prior to being named President of Incodema and Newcut in 2017.  Prior to joining Incodema as a newly formed company in 2001, she was a Commercial Loan Officer.  Illa was instrumental in the acquisition of Newcut in 2011 and the start-up of Incodema 3D in 2012.  She has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Ithaca College.  Illa is very active in the Ithaca community serving on several Board of Directors as well as a leader in Girl and Boy Scouts.  Illa is also the Founder and President of IthacaSTEM Advocates.

General Manager

Pete Engel

Pete is the General Manager and has been with Newcut for more than 34 years with roles including Process Engineer, Quality Manager, Engineering Manager. Pete earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University at Buffalo. He is a Historic Interpreter with the Genesee Country Village & Museum.
