Beryllium Copper

Beryllium Copper

Beryllium Copper has high electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance which makes it an attractive choice for electrical applications when combined with its non-sparking and non-magnetic properties.

Due to the potential for toxic inhalation hazard in cutting processes, etching is an excellent solution to cutting BeCu as it is etched in a wet environment and does not create BeCu dust.

Beryllium copper is commonly used to produce all kinds of electrical parts including electrical leads, leadframes, washers, contacts, circuits, connectors, and EMI/RFI shielding.
